Data analyst · Antwerp, Belgium
Hello, I'm Adrian.
I am a corporate data analyst who believes he can make a difference. I do not know how yet, but I will figure it out by combining my knowledge, experience, and passion.
At the moment I work at Daikin Europe, turning customer interaction data into insights the business can use. Before that I worked in sustainability reporting, consulting, and scientific research. What I look for is the same in all of them: value creation for people, planet, and profit.
What am I passionate about? Besides love, I am passionate about issues surrounding any form of social (in)justice, the environment, and LGBTQ+ communities. Bex Labs is where I try to put that together with the work: small free tools built on public data, where you can see the sources and decide for yourself.
What I keep coming back to
Social (in)justice
Any form of it. Data does not fix these things, but it can show what is actually happening.
The environment
I have worked in sustainability reporting and carbon accounting. I care whether an ESG number means something or not. Carboncount is my attempt to make one you can check.
LGBTQ+ communities
There is a lot of opinion here and not much data. Socioqueeronomics is my attempt to add some.

A lifelong feeling of not belonging, and a book that finally gave it a name: otroversion, a wiring that is not a disability but a way of being.

Notes from my first business conference. Salesforce showed an AI agent taking a customer call, and it was good enough to make me wonder what happens next.

I ordered an iron from the Lidl app and it made me think about how a discounter cracked cost leadership in European e-commerce.
