Three Graduations

At 28, a third graduation, this one a master's in Business Economics, and a tally of the countries, cities, homes, and languages it took to get here.

I am 28 years old, it’s the end of summer in 2026, and I just attended my third graduation, for a master’s in Business Economics.

  • 1 BSc in Soil Science
  • 1 MSc in Soils and Global Change
  • 1/4 PhD in Soil Biology (I resigned)
  • 1 MSc in Business Economics (with preparatory courses)

I have lived in 5 countries and 9 cities so far.

I have moved homes 10 times, soon to be 11.

I learned 4 languages. I speak 2 fluently, am on my way to a 3rd, and have lost 1.

I have worked multiple student and contract jobs, but I got my first-ever permanent contract last July.

It can happen if you desire it enough. Dream it and be it.
